I have been using a particular flower pattern ever since I learned it. The best example of work based on it is this pair of quilled jewelry: earrings and pendant.
For this project, I used 120g/sm paper hand-cut into 2mm (5/64″) strips. The diameter of the earrings is 3.5cm (1 3/8″) and that of the pendant is 4cm (1 5/8″). To add strength and make the paper quilled jewelry wearable on rain (I hope so, never tried it actually) I’ve coated them with 2 layers of water based varnish.
