Lucky Horseshoe Decorated with Quilled Flowers

I made a horseshoe some time ago because I wanted to break the quilling picture / greeting card pattern. At first, I didn’t know if I would find some use for it, but we recently got a new couch for our living room. The new couch is green, it matches very well with the horseshoe, so the horseshoe now proudly hangs on a wall in our living room.

The length of the horseshoe is approximately 8″ (19cm), and its width is 5 3/4″ (14.5cm). I made the quilled flowers from 120g/sm paper hand-cut into 5/64″ (2mm) paper strips. The horseshoe is made from 350g/sm cardboard.

Happy Quilling!
