Quilled Daffodils and Forget-me-not Flowers – Floral Tile V.
Time for another floral tile! I made this one a while ago, back in Spring, and the influence is noticeable. This is the first time I ever tried to quill daffodils, but the forget-me-not flowers are an old favorite of mine.

The size of the tile is 12cx12 cm. Mounted on a 23×23 cm piece of cardboard, it fits perfectly into the shadowbox frame from Ikea. I’ve been searching for cheap, ready made frames for years, and these are still the best deep frames I could find.

And a side view:

As always, I took the time to stem each flower and leaf and the result is this wonderful 3D effect which makes me think of a green meadow or flower beds from a garden. Next time I’ll share a quilled piece inspired by botanical illustrations.
Thank you for your visit!

Hello Manu, everything is amazing!! your work is excellent.
I have a question, how do you get to keep the petal as one, do you glue the back?
