Quilled Clematis with Purple Flowers on a White Picket Fence.
The project that I want to share with you today is a quilled clematis with purple flowers on a white picket fence. I started working on it last week, but because I had a few custom orders pending, I only managed to finish it yesterday evening.
It was hard to decide what variety of clematis to quill because their flowers come in so many beautiful colors and shapes. I probably spent an entire day looking at pictures and only after I pulled on my desk all the purple/pink papers that I have, I decided to go for this gorgeous, rich purple shade. Continue reading →
Panels with Quilled Gerbera Flowers and a White Butterfly.
I am back with the first custom orders I got for this year, panels with quilled gerbera flowers.
I was given free hand to choose some red flowers and create a frame. A bouquet of gerberas was the first photo that popped up in my google search, so it wasn’t very hard to decide what to make. 🙂 I also wanted to add a little insect and I felt like something white will create a nice contrast, hence the butterfly. I enjoy so much quilling sunflowers that I decided that this year my Holiday presents will have a summer feel to them! Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to take photos of everything I made, so I am going to show you just 3 of all the panels I managed to create in time for Christmas.
